We are seeking energetic, service-minded Loss Prevention Officer for the Tampa Bay Area. Loss Prevention Officers are responsible for conducting field and site to detect, investigate and resolve situations and circumstances that could lead to or result in losses to the company

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for conducting field and site audits
  • Audits are focused on field operations and require the associate to conduct 80% – 90% of the work in the field
  • Audits will be performed using approved methods outlined in the Loss Prevention Standard Operating Procedures Manual
  • Works with the Loss Prevention Manager on all surveillance projects
  • Performs administrative duties as required including daily reports and various weekly and monthly reports
  • Consults with the Loss Prevention Manager to address problems or bring forth new ideas
  • Occasionally consults with external departments and parties based on audit findings
  • Planning and organization of audit plan and timelines
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in loss prevention/auditing position is required; training provided
  • Advanced problem solving skills with initiative to investigate, analyze and resolve issues
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Drug Screening
  • Strong computer skills required, including MS Word and Excel
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently, in a team and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to balance multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external parties
  • Must have flexible work schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays to meet operational needs
